Combine with Pricebeat - $616.99 for the 1TB or $327.99 for the 500GB.

CDW.ca indicates that they have all of these available within 3-6 business days. 1TB Pro missing for some reason. NCIX also has the EVO and Pro (shown as back order) for more $.

These drives are amazingly fast - fastest drives to date. The 960 EVO 250GB intro price of $185.99 is super hot IMO. It'll destroy any other similar SSD at that price point. Make sure you load proper Samsung controller driver as the default Windows driver may reduce performance/hold it back.

I've never heard of CDW, but I have definitely been waiting for these bad boys. Anyone who used this company care to weigh in on their experience?

Bought a Surface Pro 2 from them as our workplace has an account with them. I was able to negotiate a better deal. They are rather large. Very legit and not shady at all. Had no issue with them. Never had to return the item though some I'm unaware of their policies on that front...

I haven't been shopping around for these drive. I know they are good (the best?) and that's why the prices are higher than most other drives of this size and format, but are these prices good?

My brother works for them and has been there 8+ years now. They're a very legit company who caters to corporate clients. Their pricing it typically higher due to this.

Yes agreed very legit company, a good friend of mine has also been there for about 8 years and with a previous employer we used to deal with him directly,

I part-operate a small MSP and we make purchases off CDW and IngramMicro often. Shipping to Whitby/Greater Toronto shows $12.99 ground 2-5 business days and $25.41 Next Business day 10:30AM. How does their price compare with regular online retailers? Warehouse inventory levels is not loading.

Can get directly from samsung in the states for $154 Cdn. I think I'll wait for the prices to come down a bit. This isn't really a hot deal as much as it's just impressive that they're finally available. We're going to start seeing them pop up all over the place soon, and hopefully see them go on sale in short time.

Good to know these are finally showing up, but I'll probably hold off for them to be widely available, with hopefully some deals to be had.

When I log in with my perks account it shows at $116 USD. I'm not saying people should buy from here, as you need an american shipping address. I'm just saying the price in canada $223 after tax and shipping isn't great and we will start to see them go down. If this is the CDW price then newegg/ncix should surely have a much better deal when available.

Samsung.com

Also available from B and H in the states with free shipping to Canada for $193 CDN including shipping and duties.

500gb for $360 duties and shipping included. Compared to $453 in canada cause CDW seems to think $45 for ground shipping on a M.2 SSD is reasonable.

I'm aware, it's common practice for companies to list products at a higher price before they receive them. Over time once major retailers get them in stock the price will start to drop.

Thanks, nadro. Hope I didn't come off sounding like I was questioning you. Just wanted to find some to buy myself :) I may end up waiting though.

I don't think you did, it's all good. I just wanted people to know that these CDW prices aren't great. Only buy this deal if you feel you need these drives now.

I've bought 500GB Evo for $370 on amazon.ca on boxing day.

I just bought a Lenovo T460s with 128GB M2 SATA SSD I was using for couple of weeks and it was pretty fast. I replaced that with 500GB Evo and can not really tell the difference right now. But if you run speed test, the differences are crazy but in real life not much so far. I'm hoping it won't get slower with this compare to SATA SSD over time then see the difference.
