Combine with Pricebeat - $616.99 for the 1TB or $327.99 for the 500GB.

I get that they have great performance, but the difference between these and a SATA SSD just doesnt seem worth the crazy prices. Im all for performance, have an overclocked and liquid cooled rig, but 3x the price to open a program 1 second faster? i guess if your running a big Database from it, but for most it seems overkill. Can someone enlighten me on this?

The sequential speeds are fantastic sure, but also unoticeable like you said. but the big benefit of these are the 4k speeds, and that's what you'll notice the most.

One major reason I'm looking to upgrade soon is to be able to use these bad boys. Hopefully AMD doesn't disappoint me like Intel keeps doing every generation next month.
