Cell phone plan for family of 5

Zoomer has some couples plans zoomerwireless.ca Even on their individual plans you'd be better off.

Call Telus. They have really good family plans.

Family plan can be good option as you mentioned that kids can use more data. it will still be costly with most carrier. As someone mentioned that Zoomer is good for family plan.

But if you are only looking for a plan then sometimes get individual plan based on the need and it will be lot more cheaper than what you are paying right now.

For example most of the carrier have $50 10 GB plan with $10 discount and $5 for adding a line.

Line 1 - $40 - 10 GB
Line 2 $ 35 - 10 GB
Line 3 $35 - 10 GB.

for parents try to get prepaid plan from Public mobile and set auto pay which and referral bonus.

Line 4 $23 - 1 GB 3G Data
Line 5 $22 - 1 GB 3G Data. You will still get LTE connection but the data speed will the only 3 MB which is enough in most cases.

So, total cost for 5 plans will be $155

I got myself a plan from telus for 5 people from centrepoint mall
Line 1 : $60 = 30 gb sharable and unlimited
Line 2 : $55 = 30 gb sharable and unlimited
Line 3 : $55 = 30 gb sharable and unlimited
Line 4 : $55 = 30 gb sharable and unlimited
Line 5 : $55 = 30 gb sharable and unlimited

So total 150Gb sharable + unlimited = total Cost = $280

If you have a business moteyo has 30gb for 48.30 per line and $550 credit or 10gb for 39.74 and $450 credit shareable data, on robbers.
