I got the same deal at CF Promenades Saint-Bruno last summer and I was planning on buying an iPad at the Apple Store in CF Pointe-Claire at Black Friday.
They didn't have any iPad in stock, the Apple store exchanged them for an Apple gift card so I can order my iPad online instead.

yeah,the only question about these promos is:

"Rewards may be claimed until March 27, 2022 unless available rewards have been allocated sooner. "

So the Promo may end at any time if they run out of funds. That makes it a little bit risky, you may not get your promo reward.

Obviously buying Apple stuff is a good way to get value out of this promo. The iPad Air 5 is coming out March 18, and $100 off isn't a bad deal. Waiting for the Back to School Edu promo is still a better deal though

Oh my bad, the deal I got was not for spending 500$, but for buying CF Gift Cards. Sorry for the confusion.

In the previous promo I bought apple products it works just any store that’s in the CF. In vancouver we have Nordstrom and holt refew they also work

Ottawa resident here. I live nearby. What many might prefer is free parking. I wouldn't want to spend $12-$20 bucks if I'm making a day of it. It ain't much, but if traffic is slow and you want to get people coming, change it up.

Damn, I should have kept Apple gift card instead of adding them to my Apple ID balance, otherwise I could use them to buy ipad and get the additional CF shop card.

yea I was just thinking about that. Shoppers last week had a deal "buy apple gift card up to $500, get 5,000 points per $50 spent". currently No Frills has the same offer "5,000 PC points For every $50 spent on Apple Gift Cards (up to a maximum of $500)". Then use the apple gift cards to spend and get the CF shop card LOL RFDers be double dipping :P

There was a same promotion last fall, I got $500 + $100 gift cards and walked into the Apple store to order an Apple Watch. They didn’t have any stock and I wanted them to order in store so that I can use the mall gift cards, they directly purchased $600 Apple gift card and told me it’s the easiest and I can take my time at home.

My bad, just read the terms, you have to shop ahead now...
