Chances of getting projector from Amazon at half price unlikely? There is a Chinese seller selling projectors that are normally $1100 for $500 the chances of being scammed and never getting anything is very high?

Lemme guess, Tesco Beauty?

I've been shopping as well and just bought from Amazon Warehouse instead of throwing my money away on that scam.

I am thinking the HD1060 would be a good choice especially for the price. Though the BenQ TH671ST is looking nice as well for a little bit more.

I initially bought an Optoma UHD51A on Apr 2nd because it was a smoking price in warehouse deals, $1040, but it still hadn't shipped as of yesterday. After so much time to rethink I decided it wasn't for me due to high lag and low light output, the 2 things that are most important to me.

I decided on a HD27HDR instead. It's very well reviewed, super low lag, and lots of light. 4k isn't a requirement for me at this point. It was on for $596.

The 1060 is a great unit, and Epson is hard to beat. The 2100 was recently under $600 but sold out. I probably would have bought that if still available.

I am having a hard time deciding between the HD27HDR and the Epson 1060. Plan to use in bedroom and basement for Xbox One X, and Movies.

The HD27HDR 4 feet of extra distance needed to project 100 inches is quite a bit.

Though the HD27HDR should perform better for games...
