Some things (electronics, small appliances, small pieces of furniture) you could probably leave at the curb and they’ll find a new home eventually. But simply from a convenience perspective, biting the bullet and renting a dumpster is the easiest way.

Take it to the local city transfer station yourself. There's a couple of locations in Scarborough.

You can find a waste disposal center close to your home and dump everything there for a very nominal fee ( 10-20$). This will be cheapest and quickest way to get rid of your junk.
Lowes/ HD sells construction over sized and very strong black bags that can be used to carry stuff to your car in bulk.

Y'all are assuming OP has a vehicle that could haul all the junk they want to get rid of. And if you're having to make a dozen trips to the transfer station at $10-20 a dump plus your time and gas, is it really cheaper?

Show your hoarded junk in the dump bin when you loaded it
