Cheap NiMH AA 1.2V batteries for Solar lights in bulk

Does anyone know of a good place to buy cheap bulk no name AA 1.2V 300-1000Mah NIHM batteries for solar lights. My parents bought 32 lights a few years ago and the rechargeable batteries are finished. The cheapest thing i've found locally are the sunbeam AA 1.2V 800Mah 2-pack at dollarama which would come to $40+tax for all.

Thanks

You can keep an eye out for those IKEA Ladda batteries (LSD NiMH), 4-pack on clearance for as low as $1.99. Not all stores have them left, and not all stores are priced at $1.99. Some stores have them at $2.99.

The Dollarama batteries are about the cheapest around that you can buy on a regular basis, although others go on sale cheaper once in a while. But as noted above they have a really small capacity for an AA battery (800 ma). They're more suitable for things like cordless phones that are only out of the charging cradle for less than an hour.

If you don't mind the wait, china is your cheapest bet in bulk.
NiCad is just battery chemistry, does not effect the light if the voltage is the same.
OP should be sure it is not LiFePO4 3.2V batteries that solar light normally take. They are the same size and shape as regular 1.2V NiMH batteries, I can't imagine how many people fried their devices by putting in two LiFePO4 3.2V batteries instead.
