Cheapest AWD vehicles

Whats the best bang for buck (cheap) NEW vehicle I can buy? Any suggestions? Under $25k taxes in. I just want it for work and back.

Depends if you want real fulltime AWD or just the cheaper slip and then go AWD.

Does the Auris/iM or whatever it's now called have an AWD option anymore?

@hulk007 , you didn't specify how long you would like to keep the car, as well as annual budget for the repair bill. Japanese new car don't break in first 5 yr, while others will break as early as 1 yr. This make a different when we are giving you our opinion

Would like to finance over 60-72 month, it will be just be a commuting car dont need all the fancy options but will buy new only.
