If memory serves me right they are located in a big plaza in richmond hill and their overall service was excellent. Not too pushy with sales of expensive lenses and frames. And doctor was quite thorough as well.
There is another optometrist in richmond hill around same area that also changed us $59. Not sure why people pay $80-$90 or even more.

This is Rfd but dont cheap out on any health issues. The money you save today can cost you in the long run.

Reviving old thread here I know ... but any updates, especially in the context of the dispute between Ford government and optometrists? I understand that optometrists are refusing to do the OHIP tests for seniors and young people. Has this had any impact on pricing generally?

Jimbobs - There are no updates re the optometrist strike. I spoke with my optometrist's secretary this morning because the optometrist association of Ontario tells you zilch.

You normally need a referral to see an ophthalmologist. Any optometrist will do, call around and get some prices. I think they are all in the same ball park.
That's my 2cents worth
