Activate a new line every 10 days, unlimited internet for ~$60-70+tax/month.
Will they auto-approve you every 10 days?

Day 1: line 1 activated.
Day 11: line 2 activated.
Day 12: line 1 cancelled.
Day 22: line 3 activated
Day 23: line 2 cancelled.

No approving needed. Unless you are on the spending limit program, you can have 5 lines active at the same time. This only requires 2.

TBH data quality isn't great. Random lags loading page. HAving mobi subscribers on same network doesn't help either.

If I used anymore data than now, I would gladly move up to Big3 data plan for the sweet sweet lag free LTE

Videotron 65/6GB plan includes $650 off tablet so it's probably same thing.

Though Videotron's only tablet that you get "$650 off" is a Samsung tablet from 2014

I was talking about this post. comparing tbaytel to Fido flex tab.
the downside with fido, you need two active sim card. one sim card is the regular line, and the second sim is the fido flex tab sim card. (I maybe wrong though) can you get JUST "the fido flex tab" only ?
WonderRocket wrote: Cheapest per GB of data plan (excluding wind due to cogestion with data speeds) tbaytel-prepaid-data-125-20gb-365-day-expiry-1397855/
-At $6.25 per GB
-Difficult part is getting a tbaybel sim

If you go with Fido flex tab it is $35 for 5GB rather than $40 ($7 per gb)

I want to know more about if tbaytel worth the hassle. One rfd member is offering to get tbaytel. but the initial cost for tbaytel sim is so high. $100 just from the sim card shipped to vancouver BC . then another $125 to buy 20GB data that is valid for 1 year.

fido seems to have comparable price per GB. but the caveat is that you have to be a fido subscriber (I think, I hope I make sense :P ) ...

I was thinking to get tbaytel sim via another avenue (lakehead) to see if the initial cost is lower.

With wind, you can't even get more than 1Mbps, and your phone calls would be delayed like crazy
isnt that plan for TABLETS only? It says on the website. http://www.fido.ca/consumer/tablets

Previous threads that discussed Fido flex data plan:

fido-1-gb-data-15-per-month-5-gb-35-10- ... e-1918361/

fido-flex-data-15-1gb-25-3gb-35-5gb-spe ... e-1956367/

Yes the Fido plan is intended for tablets, but it works fine in a phone for many people. Works fine for me in my Nexus 5, tethering also works. And I don't have any other Fido SIM / plan.
Amerifriend threads need to include instructions on how to acquire an amerifriend.

I'm using the Fido Flex plan with a OnePlus 3. Bought the sim card on eBay and activated through Fido's online chat support.

Many large work environments have heavy restrictions on internet at work. For example, all social media is blocked at my place of employment, as well as anything related to gambling/gaming. So I can't even check lotto 6/49 numbers at work.

Therefore I use about 3-4 GB of data because I don't connect to the wifi at work.

Same here. I cancelled my 6GB shared plan. Average monthly usage is about 300MB. Wifi everywhere.

Many of us don't have wifi at work. I use 3.5GB every single month.

In other words

My usage is normal, my usage is correct and any usage outside the zone I find correct is crazy. I can't think of any reason a person would want/need to use more than that therefore nobody should ever want/need more than that. My ignorance on the goings ons of other people is irrelevant.

Same, no Wifi at work and I also take the GO train (no wifi) to commute - which is about a 2.5hr commute (to and from).

LTE data on Bell is a life saver...I easily can burn through 6gbs watching youtube videos on the commute to and from work.

FS: Nothing at the moment
Heatware: 63-0-0
