Cheapest option to get a new phone

What is the cheapest option to get a decent previous generation flagship? Last time I got a Koodo phone and then cancelled the contract. Since, Koodo has closed that loophole, what is the next best option?

Try Public Mobile Certified Pre-Owned, they have decent prices on older generation flagships like the Pixel 5.

Thanks. I like the Public mobile option. Comes with warranty as well. Probably will hold on to see if Certified Pixel 5 comes down in price when Pixel 6 comes out.
