Cheapest Text or Text/Talk Plan?

Looking for a basic plan for a 13 year old girl. Suggestions?

So far I found:
Speakout $10/month unlimited text
Public $15/month unlimited text/incoming calling with 100 outgoing minutes and 250mb of data

Public is probably the best option. Especially since it's really $13 + tax if you use a credit card for auto pay.

There's the $99/year freedom talk and text plan too if you're okay with service areas and reception

The cheapest I've found was Public Mobile. If you get a referral it brings down the monthly cost by another $1 I think. so $12/Month unlimited text/incoming calling with 100 outgoing minutes and 250mb of data

If you are in Freedom coverage area $99/year for talk and text...https://www.freedommobile.ca/en-CA/prepaid-plans
There is a work around if not in coverage to set up as if in coverage area account. Buy sim online from place like https://canadiancellsupplies.com/collections/sim-cards as Freedom wont ship to non coverage area and you will have to use that areas phone numbers.Freedom will use other cell towers if out of coverage area.As this is not data related plan unlikely to close account after three months but this is still a possibility.
