Cheapest way to get Pixel 3A/3A XL?

I forgot what the deal was during BF, but I wasn't in Canada at the time anyways so I wasn't able to take advantage of it. What's the best way to get either of these phones on a discount at the moment?

They might put it on sale again on boxing day. I don't think anyone pays retail for pixels, they are on sale every couple of weeks

Usually Google's sales are announced. The only next reliable time the 3A will be discounted is when Google announces the 4A and wants to clear all 3A and 3A XL inventory. If you were wondering what the BF sale was, it was $150 off of both phones. So $399 for the standard 3A.

I tried to purchase a purpleish Pixel 3A during the Google BF sale, but it was never in stock. Even signed up for notifications. It came back in stock after the sale. Reached out to Google, since I wanted it for a Christmas present for my daughter, but they basically gave me the run around. Good phone at $400. I wouldn't pay retail for it.

I'm really interested in buying outright from Google, but at the same time, I have two Koodo plans that are eligible for Tab Medium and Tab Small offers. Which will save me more money? Buy from Google or Koodo?

Why does the details of my plans matter?

Because if you get the phone from koodo, it will be on a 2 year contract. If you have a bad plan, do you want to be stuck for 2 years?

Best scenario is if you have a loyalty or migration Koodo plan, and then combine it with their phone offers and gift cards

I understand. Let's say, I go with the two year plan since I got two very nice plans with them already.

In that case go with koodo. Themobileshop has the 3a XL on $0 tab medium + 100,000 PCO points. I think they are also waiving the activation fees. Ends up being $360 for the phone + 100k points. Net $260

Oh ****, I had no idea...What about the smaller Pixel 3A?

This will be cheaper than buying outright from Google to use with my plans? I'll be keeping my plans with Koodo as long as there is nothing better at that price range.

3a is $100 less than XL, so $240 - 100k points = $140

Provided you stay with Koodo for 2 years

Google just lowered the price now to $399 for the 3a. Not sure if that is a good deal.

It is if you didn't want to pay the retail $550. Its a modern 2019 phone with OLED, Pixel 3 camera, stock Android, modest hardware, headphone jack, fast charging and good battery life. Where it shows its not the over $1000 phones is it doesn't have wireless charging, the phone is a plastic shell rather than a aluminum one, its only got a single camera rather than the 3-4 now present on flagship phones, flagship phones have leading edge hardware, the 3A has bezels, and flagships have IP ratings while the 3A doesn't. If none of those negatives upsets you with regards to a phone, then its one of the best mid range phones out there. I got it for my mother to replace a Nexus 4 and for myself I wish the 3A existed sooner, instead I will stretch my 2XL for as long as possible.

Just bought the 3a for my wife.. $399 plus 5% tax of $12.60, plus priority shipping of $12.99. Total of $432.59.
