Good recommendations are:

Korean Fried Cauliflower
Avocado Eggrolls
Fried Mac and Cheese
Factory Burrito Grande (this will put you to sleep afterwards)
Pasta Da Vinci (this is money, sooo good. If you love mushrooms, you'll love this dish)
Chicken Bellagio
Miso Salmon

Get a slice of cheesecake to go and blend it into a milkshake at home.

Honestly, for its location, it's actually a little bit cheaper than I expected. I thought all entrees would be north of $20, but there are some cheaper options. Make me think that the meals will definitely be smaller than the US.

I am shocked that the pricesare reasonable. I compared the Chicago menu to the Yorkdale one and stuff is between $2 -$5 more in Toronto (although the steaks get a $5 - $10 difference). Considering the exchange rate the pricing is pretty fair.
Now how will the portions be?

Now I guess the big question is portion sizes. I had the cheesecakes before and they are ok.
The portion sizes are the same, allow for some minor tweaks.

Are they going to take online reservations? US locations use OpenTable

I dread the wait that this place is going to have during holiday shopping season, I already try to avoid Yorkdale after Remembrance Day

The Cheesecake Factory At Yorkdale Will Not Be Taking Reservations On Opening Day

Do you accept reservations?
Sorry! We unfortunately do not take reservations for dining during peak times such as evenings, weekends or holidays. When it is not a busy holiday or special event season, many restaurants gladly accept a few large party reservations for off-peak dining. Large parties can reserve for an early lunch immediately after we open (11 or 11:30AM) or for dining during quieter times such as weekday afternoons (3 - 5PM) or after 9PM. Guests joining us for dinner or on the weekends, are seated in order of arrival based on party size. You're always welcome to call your local restaurant and speak to a manager. He or she will be happy to guide you to the best times to dine at your local restaurant!

So far living up to the hype according to media.

Apparently they brought veteran wait staff and I'm sure kitchen members from U.S. to help guide.

Just trust. Ask the guests that were invited to the special event.

Omg it looks just like the US locations. Anyone going on opening day? I mean line up on opening day...
I saw this guy posing for his pictures outside the restaurant lol. Opening day is Tuesday Nov 21 @ 11:30am. Line up for a pager and then go shopping or watch a movie to pass the 3-5 hours wait time lol. The reception on those pagers are good.

Portions are exact same size with some minor tweaks on a few items.
