Cheques for vendors

I have my entire team working from home, and am thinking of instituting an "electronic payment" only procedure for our vendors to avoid having to go to office and cut and sign cheques. Is there any instance you can think of where a wire/direct payment/etransfer/credit card payment wouldn't suffice? Been thinking all morning on this, and I believe it there isn't.
