I don't think anyone cares if you pick up blossoms that have already fallen. But the blossoms are really small and it would take a while to collect a substantial amount.

Anyone know what the best dates are this year? I'm guessing it's not the week of April 17th like it was last year.

judging by the buds on our magnolia tree, I'd say about another 2 weeks give or take.

I am thinking early May myself based on this weather.

Last year was early compared to other years.

I updated thread topic to show 2011.

Cherry Blossoms are officially in full bloom today at High Park..The park was quite busy today (saw a few Asian tour buses) but the crowd died down a little bit around 7 pm... No petals on the ground yet :)

Is it too late to see them in full bloom this weekend? May 13th - 15th?

Anyone knows where in North York are that has lots of these trees?

It will depend on the weather this weekend. If it gets windy/rainy then they might be gone. Still likely it will be a good showing for next weekend as they usually last about a week

It will be raining the whole week-end.. and even on Monday to Wednesday of next week.. so today is probably the best day to go to (unless you don't mind the rain :) )

A friend of mine went yesterday and based on the pictures that she posted, petals have slightly starting to fall on the ground...
