Over the years we have seen the horrible injuries and often life changing effects caused in motor vehicle collisions where alcohol or drugs are involved. The sad reality is that hundreds of people are killed or seriously injured each year. Mothers Against Drunk Driving has stated that crashes involving alcohol and/or drugs are a leading criminal cause of death in Canada. Every day, on average four Canadians are killed and many more are injured in alcohol and/or drug related motor vehicle collisions.

Unfortunately the incidence of impaired driving increases over the holiday season. At Schiffmann Injury Lawyers, we are committed to helping keep the people of Greater Toronto Area safe during this upcoming holiday season. Our goals are to help keep people safe, and to encourage people to make the right decision and NOT drink and drive.

Schiffmann Injury Lawyers Sober Ride Home Program will reimburse the costs of UBER, Taxi or Lyft rides home subject to the conditions of the program below.

Lolz. So 5000/35 = approximately 142 people will get reimbursement. I bet this lawyer paid more on advertising of this program.

Luckily most every transit system has free service on NYE. In Toronto you get free TTC, GO Transit, and UP Express

Its max $35....many people will be under $20.
I've taken Lyft-Uber at least 10 times in past year, from Ajax to Oshawa-live in Whitby....usually about $15. Lot of negative posts in this thread, 5 grand is better than nothing.
