Chromebook screen replacement?

I have an HP chromebook with a broken screen. i called HP and they said the screen is the most expensive part of the unit and it makes more sense to buy a new one. I also called Ubreakifix, gave them the model number and they said the part is about $300. I paid about $600 or $700 and it's less than two years old. I've taken the screen off myself and only the screen is damaged (not the casing). I have no issues installing a new screen myself and see that there are third party websites such as screencountry, etc where i can purchase a new screen for just over a hundred dollars. I'm looking for any general advice on screen replacement, and a reputable company where i can source one. Thanks!
