CIBC issues July 14/2021?

CIBC issues July 14/2021?

Wondering if anybody else had issues with CIBC today (afternoon)?

1st attempt at making payments / deposits at an ATM, my accounts were mislabeled with no account #'s showing.
2nd attempt things were back to normal.
I checked online after returning and the transactions don't show up as pending or having taken place for either my personal or business accounts. 3 transactions in total.

2 of the 3 transactions still don't show, so I started a chat. I'll post their response in case others find the same issues.

For the missing transactions - cash deposits (payments) were made to credit cards. ATM transactions receipts were emailed & received. A day later they still don't show up as pending online.

Chat rep says:

... these deposits will not show in a pending status. Deposits done to a credit card directly through an ATM can take 3-5 business days to appear.
Essentially when this happens, someone has to balance out the ATM deposits and then send in the payment to our Credit Card Team before it appears on your account.

IOW to get the transactions to show up in real time, deposit cash to a chequing / savings account, then transfer to the credit cards.

You learn something new every day.
