I don't believe so, that's all the terms and conditions they gave, there's no link to anything more. They won't be able to tell if you're a Prime member either through the CC transaction, so it should be ANY purchase on Amazon.ca for that time, regardless if you're prime or not. Same thing to guy above, a gift card for Amazon.ca should work, I see no restriction on it

Oh, so you just need a CIBC Visa card, that's it?

I was just wondering if this is only targeted to certain CIBC cardholders.

If it's any CIBC card, this is awesome!

Didn't receive, although I have one of their cards.
Ugh though, I already did the $500 Amazon -> $125 Cineplex promo at 7-11, lol. So christ, just another $100 down I guess if I end up getting it.

Yeah, me too. but I'll always use Amazon, so better to use the CC than the gift card to get the $10 credit.

I got the email.

Sender does not look like a real CIBC address:
personalbanking@e.cibcinfo.ca

e.cibcinfo.ca appears to be in the USA
Waiting for a response from CIBC fraud as to validity. Checked CIBC and did not see anything on their site.
caveat emptor
If you are getting different credit scores from different sources please post them here:

Good point but I am 99.9% sure it’s legit. I get CIBC emails from this address
