Clear lakes vs weedy lakes in Ontario cottage country

Looking for a definitive list of lakes in Ontario cottage country that are clear (at least mostly) vs those that are typically weedy. Specifically looking for info in the Kawartha area, Muskoka area, Georgian Bay, etc.

Just looking to narrow down a search for lakefront cottage properties since swimming in a lake that is often weedy is unfortunately a no go. Thanks for the input.

Wil do. Just knowing that this is a forum, I figured that not just agents would know the answer to this, ie: residents of the various areas, visitors to the lakes, etc.

Your question is impossible to answer in general terms since lakes have weedy and clear spots. It really depends on the what side of the lake you are on, not so much about the lake itself. If this is your major concern then the Kawarthas probably aren't for you. As a general rule of thumb deeper lakes aren't as weedy, so you can try thinking about it that way.
