Dunno, but just a guess: Dying logic board or GPU? Or do you have any third party hardware, like an external FireWire 800 drive?

It currently has a clean install. Nothing is installed on it. I tried doing a hardware test but every time I try it gives me an error. I don’t have the original CD it comes with either so I can’t do it that way. I too came to the conclusion that it may be the gpu too but I’m not sure.
