The food is pretty bad when compared to other fine dining. You are paying for the view only.

Well of course you need to factor the view/setting into the price...

CN Tower adult admission is $40 + tax, while the restaurant is $70+ tax + tip for a 2 course (appy + main) meal (no drink).

I agree the food is not worth $70 on its own, but subtracting what I would have paid for the CN Tower ticket, I do find it's worth the extra $30 + tip to get a nice appy & main. Drinks on the other hand...

Just guarantees the food is hot.

If you bring your tinfoil hat, you'll be fine.

Can confirm. I used to work there and it isn't worth it unless you planned to eat and go up for the view. The staff discount didn't really cover it either.

Please note that elevation to 360 Restaurant and access to the LookOut and Glass Floor levels of the CN Tower, following your meal, are complimentary with the purchase of a prix fixe by each guest.

To be fair, giving adults kids meals isn't really good for your bottom line running a restaurant, as everyone would do it. You'd just go bust.

Please note

Please be advised that, due to renovations of our Outdoor Terrace Level, the outdoor terrace and original glass floor are not open to guests at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience.

The new glass floor on the Tower’s Main Observation Level remains open, letting you “dare to walk on air” and enjoy the thrill of seeing straight down to the ground, 114 storeys below your feet.
