That's unlikely to work. If you're setting it up from Coast Capital's website, then it's not a pre-authorized debit. It's just a bill payment.
Pre-authorized debit means you've set up you banking info with whatever bill you are trying to pay (CC, utility, etc) and the biller then debits your account each month.
Don't forget each debit needs to be at least $50.

This has probably been covered by a number of people but apparently even if you closed an account years ago (over 5 years for me) you're not considered a new customer by opening an account again.

Before January 2014 you are good - beyond that, no dice.

I thought I had read that anyone that hasn't been a member since 2014 is safe?

If Paytm let’s me pull from my wife’s account then it will work. Instead of paying the full amount, would pulling $51 twice, a month apart do the trick?

It should. Phone my wife and convince her to let me sign her up!

That's what I did on my Bell.ca account. I overpaid them with $55 each time. I dont think there's any requirements to have the 2 payments to be 1 month apart. I did mine on the same day.

Yes..thats why Reddit thread has been locked due to referral posts than regular posts. I guess the difference between this and the other promos are No Cap on the referrals. Unless i misunderstood the terms.

Have you got the success of opening yet? as most of people are getting instant approvals through out the day.
