I don’t know what you mean by life changing, as it’s not like being in a car accident and becoming paralyzed.

It’s expensive, but its good. At least for me.

Their bread is better than generic sliced bread, but I wouldn't call it life-changing. Life-altering maybe, but not life-changing.

1. Can not compare prices at all.

2. Can not compare the taste/quality at all.

In other words, an exact example of "You get what you pay for."

Best bread in Barrhaven (West Ottawa). Our favs include the sour dough loafs and the various scones are delicious.

Cobs is alright, not life changing, but better than most crappy grocery store stuff.

Bread baked and consumed on the same day is always the best. Even the worst just baked bread is going to be better (or close to) than the best day old bread.

I’m seeing they use dough conditioners in some of their breads, but thank goodness I don’t see any of their breads containing L-cysteine which is derived from animal feathers or sometimes even human hair.

Thanks, I basically only go to Cobs when there's a coupon like this. Their breads are above grocery store level, but aren't as good as your fancy naturally-fermented sourdough bakery.

Thanks OP! I'm a fan of their pizza crusts. They freeze well and take no time to bake.

Every time I visit a COBS bread store, after I walk out, my mask still smells like a bakery.

Cob’s cinnamon scone is to die for! It’s like exactly like biting into a big cinnamon toast crunch cereal pastry.

My favourite bread is their farmer loaf and cape seed bread.

Last time the store only had the regular ones. These sound better.

Didn’t know they freezer well and didn’t consider.

I usually buy fresh when I need, but sometimes stores run out of stock.

Thanks.

Bought a 6-pack of hot cross buns today. The clerk packed them in a plastic bag for me.
What's the best way to store these, to eat them over the next few days?
Keep them in the plastic bag? Transfer to a container?
Store at room temp, or in the fridge?

Yup, got this deal today. Discount was total 7.75, 1.50 on the buns and 6.25 on the delicious loaf.

Cobs website is great for checking ingredients. Pre-load it to search ingredients of what they have left for the day.
