Saw lots of these specially marked packages of 120g peanut M&M`s at my Dollarama for $2.

Offer is not as good as last time. 5 packs for 1 movie ticket. Also, no PINs inside the packages. The instructions say to upload a photo of the receipt and products to redeem starting June 18, 2018.

These Collect and Get promos that Cineplex offers seem to get worse and worse every year. I'm still hoping they bring back the "free movie" ticket they had a couple of years ago on Nestea 12 pack can boxes but I doubt those will be back.

Isn't this pretty much the same considering you had to buy 10 packs for 2 tickets?

Also the new instructions seem beneficial since you don't have to open every package now and place them into a zip lock to get the codes.

Saw a Dollarama employee at Gerrard/Coxwell location this Monday buying a bunch of specially marked ones
An earlier version of this article incorrectly described a behavior of crows exposed to crow corpses. Live crows only touch, attack and attempt intercourse with crow corpses, they do not scavenge them. (Actual NYT correction)

I'm not sure about the most recent promo, but it used to be 8 packs for 2 tickets.

I purchased 10 on one receipt but in hindsight, I should've bought 5 per receipt just in case redemption gets confusing.

Eat the M&M's or donate it to the food bank. Returning it just gets it thrown in the garbage, and Walmart eats the loss.

Likely passing, cheapest entry point is likely $2 a pack, plus taxes, that's $10+ for a movie ticket.

Naaaaaaah, I'm good.

(You need to be aware of previous years where it wasn't this expensive to participate in this deal. Yes, it's something for nothing, but I can still make the comparison. I bet you they will sell far less this year.)

And as usual probably won’t be on the regular packages of chocolate only the peanut

If your planning to go to the movies regardless, free snacks to bring in is free snacks if your not using some other promo.

Is the cheapest place to get these the dollar store? Or Wal-Mart?

Just redeemed 10 M&M. Had to register, then upload photo of receipt showing retailer, date, products and total. Upload another photo showing actual qualifying products. Then enter number of products.

"Please allow up to 72 hours for your entry to be validated, at which point you will receive another email that will confirm the number of credits you have received toward your FREE movie ticket.

To see the status of this and any other entries you have made, login at www.moviecollectandget.ca/login using your email address.

Upload a photo of receipt(s) containing:
  • M&M'S® (120g, 200g or 400g),
  • SNICKERS® Bites, TWIX® Bites packages (130g or 230g),
  • SKITTLES® Original, Berry, or Tropical (191g), SKITTLES® Sour (151g)
  • STARBURST® Original packages (191g)

Upload a photo of the participating product(s) purchased

Once participants have reached five (5) confirmed qualifying product purchases they will receive one (1) Cineplex promotion code ("Cineplex Code") redeemable for 1 movie ticket at Cineplex.com

--------------------------------------------------------------------

YMMV - Walmart currently has a promotion on m&ms, skittles and starburst candy - $4 for 2 packs of candy. So it nets out to $10 for a movie ticket plus a ton of free candy.

Dollarama also has $2/pack candy.

This year the promotion does NOT require you to enter UPC codes or unique PINs found inside the candy, they only require a photo of your receipt & a photo of all the candy purchased.

Seems like the deal keeps getting worse and worse over the years. Used to be 4 bags and now it's 5.
