So I had an rbc bank account on my TU report in the, closed for cause section.
I disputed this and rbc never verified this account and it was removed from my report.

Just today NCO collections has this on my account. They have the amount off slightly as well.

So if the original creditor never verified this account with trans union, wonder if NCO will be able to keep it on.

Just sent off a letter registered letter to TU about this. Have my copy’s showing TU deleted the rbc account and all.

Do you think they will delete it? Since rbc is the original creditor and TU removed it in April.

NCO only put it on TU not equifax funny how some do both and other just 1.

My score dropped 50 to 700Face With Tears Of Joy

Need more details. The question is, is the bank account that was reported a legitimate debt?

RBC didn't dispute because they already sold the debt and it's not theirs to collect anymore.
The collection agency most definitely will verify it, and it will stay. Your best bet for getting it off is pay it, THEN dispute after it's paid.

It has not been sold, they are just collecting. If this does stay on my report, it will be 6 years as of sept 2019 so just a year on here it would stay.

+1 , but I would disagree with pay and dispute to get it removed. imho the damage is done. the post above indicates it's only going to be on his file for one more year, so sit tight and wait. If you want it gone now, and are entertaining paying it, use that angle to get it removed - but get that in writing before coughing up the dough.

It’s for $2800 and I won’t be paying it,
If trans union won’t remove it. As they did
When rbc had it on. Yes it will purge sept 30 2019 and I got 4 cc this past spring, so I am good there.

I will let you know in a few weeks if TU removes it Grinning Face

Why are you disputing legitimate debts on your credit report?

You're right, I hadn't seen the sept / 19 drop off before I posted. At this point OP should just ride it out.

By using overdraft protection like a line of credit and then failing to satisfy the terms of the overdraft i.e clear negative balance every 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, depending on term of contract.

Well Trans Union just removed the July 10 NCO collection. Did not get the letter, saying why they did let.But as I said before rbc never verified the bank account with TU in April when it was removed. I disputed cause of the original creditor won’t verify then NCO should not be abale to put this on my file, also the original Amount owing was off by $1 so I disputed that as not accurate and has to be deleted. Maybe NCO just never verified it lol

Still have to send Equifax a dispute once I get the TU letter saying it’s removed.

Also my credit Karma TU, score , went up 126 points to 758Smiling Face With Open Mouth my TU was at 652 now 785 so they are pretty close scores both from TU lol
580 is the borrowell Equifax.

Got 2 more inquiry’s removed as well on my TU file had double hits from PC mc. So only have 3 inquiry’s on my TU file might be 1 soonSmiling Face With Open Mouth
Also got 2 PC MC inquiry’s removed from my Equifax report. Had to contact PC as Equifax won’t verify inquiry’s they just send a cut & paste letter telling you what inquiries are for. By law they are suppose to investigate any item on ur report. TU does verify inquiry’s as by law they must. So I complained to PC and they contacted both bureaus to remove them. That’s what i don’t like about Equifax there not as good a bureau.

Now even higher. Equifax has collection and chaff off on it. Don’t think it will go much higher.
