Color laser printer

Can someone recommend a HP network colour laser printer in the that have the same or better print quality as the LaserJet CP3525n? Budget is USD$1200. This is not going to be an everyday printer, it's only going to be used for business presentation and such. Monthly use is approx 1000 pages.

How does CP4025n compare to what we currently use?

All I can say is "wow". I would consider this for home, however the print head would dry out due to low print volume.

Most printers that don't have the print head integrated into the cartridges will perform a "cleaning" routine automatically regularly to prevent it from drying out. This is what caused people to complain that their printer has run out of ink even they haven't printed anything.

I would buy a Brother Colour Laser instead; reliable and cheaper to run than HP.

Exactly,...since the ink is in reservoir and not print heads, it wont dry as the conventional print heads

What Brither model would you recommend that has the same or better print quality compared to HP CP3525n?

Btw, this is for office use. I really don't think we print a 1000 page per month.

Any of these Brother colour MFCs are all good: https://www.brother.ca/en-CA/MFC/5/Colo ... function/4

As for black and white, this Brother MFC-L6700DW got an Editor's Choice from PC Mag a few months ago: http://www.pcmag.com/products/26644?Com ... ries%20Ltd.

I'll take a look at the Brother and Lexmark MFPs. If we were to choose HP and non-MFP, what would you recommend?

Old HP laser printers like the LaserJet II was built like a tank

The current HP printers are cheap plastic that falls apart after a few years. Unless you are buying their higher end enterprise printers, the consumer stuff is junk

However, if you insist on HP, I suggest you look at the LaserJet M452dn
