Commission payout

Hi guys I have a question regarding commission payout for a real estate agent selling a preconstuction home to a client from a builder...my wife sold a home last June and she was supposed to get 2% commission when the client put in 10 % of Thier deposit and this happened on January...the cheque is ready by the builder but the problem is the authorizing officer hasn’t signed the broker agent agreement so she can’t access her cheque...she’s called numerous places and no one can help her out... they can’t give the number of the authorizing officer and she’s getting no where...what can my wife do to get this signed by the officer so she can pick up her commission cheque? It has been very frustrating and I’m hoping someone can help us out
