Computer Monitor Deals?

Just building a new family PC (day-to-day use, media server/streaming, no gaming) and was starting to consider updating the older Samsung monitor.

Have only come across this one, as I don't need anything fancy but would like to be in this size range: Samsung 24" FHD - $139.99 @ Best Buy

Looks like it frequently goes on sale even cheaper ($129.99) on Amazon, so will keep an eye out on there. Wondering if there's anything else cheaper out there that others have come across?

Is this Acer better than the Samsung 24" FHD 75Hz 5ms GTG IPS LED FreeSync Gaming Monitor (LF24T350FHNXZA) also on Best Buy's boxing week sale flyer for $139?

Also looking for a monitor. Purely for work, minimal video and no gaming.

Thanks

They look comparable from the outside. Check for the longer warranty as a tie breaker. Samsung looks like 1 year warranty. 3 years for the Acer based on BB website.

I am still using a 10 yo Asus VW266H 1920x1200 25.5 inch TN monitor. Looking at a 1440p or a 4K in 2021. Been eyeing an 24 inch AOC 24G2 at around $200 @ Amazon 1+ month wait however.

Canada, Eh!!
Check Dell during boxing day... got one on BF from them with coupon... $130 for 24".

They did have $99 also on BF but think not as good as one we got.
2022/3: BOC raised 10 times and MCAP raised its prime next day.
2017,2018: BOC raised rates 5 times and MCAP raised its prime next day each time.
2020: BOC dropped rates 3 times and MCAP waited to drop its prime to include all 3 drops.

Hoping somebody can provide some insight into the best of these three Samsung monitors that are all on for $139, because I really can't tell the difference other than model number and design variations:

Samsung LS24R350FHNXZA 24" - Amazon/Costco
Samsung LS24F350FHNXZA 24" - Amazon/Costco/Staples (+1% Rakuten)
Samsung LS24T350FHNXZA 24" - Amazon/Best Buy (+1% Rakuten)

No. this 27" LG monitor is cheap for a reason, it only has 1920 x 1080 resolution (FHD).
Only get that monitor if you have bad eyes and need very large text onscreen.

But if you have no vision issues, then look for monitors which are 27" or larger and have 3840 × 2160, or 4K UHD resolution

Picked up a Lenovo 23" for $103 yesterday via perkopolis. https://www.lenovo.com/ca/en/perkopolis ... 65D1KCC1US

Nothing too exciting but the price was right for a basic wfh monitor. The QHD was $175.

Lenovo has a bunch of monitors available. Just be sure they have the VESA / connectivity you want.

Dell has a solid deal right now on the S2721DGF. 27" 1440p 165hz IPS gaming for $549. Add Unidays 10% off and 8% Ebates to bring this down a good chunk more.

I ordered one yesterday but delivery not until end of January.
