Many of the options sound cheap and tinny.
I can highly recommend these: Creative Inspire T12. Small, each has a builtin subwoofer, the sound is rich and beautiful. Stock comes and goes lately. Setup alerts with Keepa.

They were $69 in June and $74.56 on July 21-27. Install a Keepa plugin to see the price history.

These are analog speakers. What RAM are you talking about?
