Connect Denon receiver to Ikea speaker with bluetooth problem

Is the bluetooth speaker on pairing mode?

Usually if you hold and press the power button on most BT devices, they go on a pairing mode. And they show up on the BT device menu.

I'm trying to connect an Ikea Eneby speaker via bluetooth wihout success. I open the Eneby, press the bluetooth button on the remote for 3 seconds for the receiver (Denon avr-x3600h) to start the scan but find nothing. I tried the other way: start the scan then turn on the Eneby but it still doesn't work.

Why would you want to pair a bluetooth speaker with the Denon receiver?

I think most BT connection is for input device => receiver, not receiver => speaker (i.e., receiver will not output to speaker). However, your receiver can output to BT. You may need to go into the menu and turn the BT transmitter ON (it's off by default). Mine (S750H) apparently can do but I have no BT speakers (just network connected ones).

Bingo! I wasn't looking at the right place in the settings (and manual). I seems to have a bit of delay. Any way to fix that? I checked in the Eneby manual and it seems there's no way to fix that and have seen nothing in the receiver manual.

Can try lipsync setting to adjust.
