connect ecobee wihtout c wire

Here is my old thermostat. I am assuming there is no c wire. there are really only 4 wires here.

I opened the furnace and still yet to find out where the control board is.

open that second panel down below with the sight window for the error codes, you'll see the control board.

As for the C wire, use the adapter ecobee includes in the box, it makes a virtual C wire for your thermostat out of your existing wires.

Here is my final wiring map. does it look right enough for me to turn on the power from the fusebox?

looks right from what I remember - but it's been 2+ years since I've touched it - no change to the humidifier & a/c wires right?

(and the rest should match up with what is in the ecobee app/printed install guide, right?)

Do you have any spare wires you can use?

We just installed an Ecobee in our new house and there was no "C wire"...but the blue wire wasn't being utilized at all so we connected it to the Motherboard and used that as the "C wire".

As others have pointed out...you could just use the PEK and do it that way.
