Connecting external monitor to a chrombook

Hi
I have a chrome book Acer Chromebook 11 C732-C6WU 11.6 (https://www.amazon.com/Acer-Chromebook- ... B0799Z328L).

What do I need to connect it to an external monitor which has HDMI? I would appreciate any advice about the brand/vendor etc.. Thank you very much.

Does the external monitor have HDMI or DisplayPort?

This Chromebook USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alt Mode.

You would need an USB-C adapter/cable or an USB-C hub that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode to use an external display.
