Consumer rights for price errors
So I am sure many of you have had this happen before, you find a price error item, quickly place the order on your credit card and 2 days later to no surprise...you get an email saying your order was cancelled and the merchant admits to a system glitch which caused the price error.
Is there anything we can do about this besides being a Karen and blasting them on social media? I've had it happen twice now online, in Walmart I was able to get a price error honoured by a manager and the manager told me about some consumer law at the time making them honour the price on the shelf, but an online purchase I could see the merchant hiding something in their terms of service mentioning they can cancel whatever whenever. Any advice is greatly appreciated
