Reminds me of all the kellogg's I entered vigorously trying to win a grocery store gift card. No cigar. But got a Doug Gilmour signed jersey after doing one not so vigorously but not forgetting about it either. Feels good. Congratulations to all the mentioned and maybe a few unmentioned winners of the Sobey's gift card from Kellogg's.

Just got word from 94.9 The Rock that I won Iron Maiden tickets to their Legacy of the Beast World Tour 2022 happening October 11th. Wow, that's a long time to wait, but am glad some spark of luck struck my way. Good luck all.

So how's 2021 for your contesting ?
For me it was a so so year with small winnings. Have been entering contests most days. But normally I only enter single entry contests, daily instant win ones, and daily contests with a higher number of prizes. I don't like to enter every day for three months to win a $50 gift card. At the latter part of the year entered multiple 12 days of Xmas giveaways with no results. I think my total wins for the year will be slightly above $1000 range.
Most of the wins were coupon wins. Lots of circlek coupons, 1 pack (5 coupons) from Oetker pizza, some coupons for snacks, and oatmeal are some that I can remember of. Also won some starbucks stars and tim points through starbucks life contest and the hockey pick contest.
Other wins includes a Toy train set ($25), a $25 McDonalds gift card from a local radio station, Metro gift card ($100) from Nestle etc.
  1. The biggest prize
$500 cheque from Circle-k (some text to win contest)
  2. The most used prize
My Fitbit aspire (~$100) won from general Mills
  3. The most weird prize
Pleasure pack (valued $30) from Trojan
  4. The most unused prize
Some kitkat branded hoodie I won from Nestle

I love year in review for contesting :)

I had a pretty good year for contests, pretty bad year for income so this hobby was really helpful actually. If I'd spent my contesting time watching tv or something I would have missed out on a lot. Grand total approximately $12,500. (I count everything, even the little circle k wins)

Biggest prize by ARV: Ben & Jerry's ice cream for a year followed closely by $1000 GCs for Structube and The Brick
Most used prize: the kitchen table & chairs bought with the Brick gift card I won
Weirdest prize: a dalgona candy kit, it's 100% in korean and not sure we'll ever use it
Most disappointing prize: the $50 Starbucks card I won that never arrived from an instagram contest. I told the influencer and she said, "well I sent it?"... I did initally ask for an electronic card and she insisted on mailing a physical card... :/

A large amount of my prizes this year were food and grocery gift cards which was amazing as I've got two kids who eat like it's going out of style. Also a number of clothing prizes, also great for growing kids - and for me as I rarely buy clothing for myself, and if I do it's secondhand so it's super nice to get new clothes once in a while.

2021 contesting review. I am definitely not a contestor but I won a few prizes. None of them are big but they’re okay.

Biggest Prize by ARV: a $100 Grocery gift card to Sobeys, Foodland, FreshCo etc. from the McCafe VIP instant win Contest.

My favourite prizes: the grocery gift card and a $25 Visa Gift Card from the Circle K Ultimate NBA Gaming Contest.

The smallest prizes: the circle k coupons and 10 stars from the Starbucks Contest

The weirdest prize: A Cheeto’s Mac and Cheese free product coupon from the Cheeto’s Carnival Contest

The most unused prize: A Cheeto’s Tank Top from the Tasty Rewards Contest Grab Snacks Win Swag.

The prizes I win aren’t really big but I guess for me they’re good enough.

Biggest Prize: $5000 Air Canada Gift Card from The Brick on Instagram, just confirmed and received last week. The largest prize I've ever won since I started in 2015 by far!

Most Used: A year supply of ener-c drink mix (I have one every day) and it came with a $400 grocery gift card.

Most Weird: A year supply of chickpea pasta, it was just weird getting 54 various boxes of pasta delivered at once, lol. They donated the same amount to a food bank I chose though which is really cool.

Most unused: $400+ custom longboard from a vodka company. I almost broke my ankle a few years ago on a skateboard so not ever getting on it. I will probably give it away or sell for a few hundred. I just donated a bunch of stuff to a charity silent auction that I had won over the past few years. :)

Most disappointing: Pizza Pops mystery prize pack on Twitter. The marketing company changed right after I won, and after 6 months of back and forth with influencers and the marketing team I really doubt I'll ever get anything. I would have been happy with just a few coupons, lol.

I always say I'll keep track of all my prizes but I never do, I really wanna try for 2022 to figure out my total wins and total ARV. I'm pretty sure this was definitely my best year ever, and it felt like 90%+ of all wins were thanks to Instagram. It takes a lot more work to enter with multiple tags but it's been very worthwhile. Thank you to everyone on RFD and other contest communities for inspiring and motivating me, good luck to everyone in 2022!

Won an Annie Lennox signed vinyl (they never mentioned it's signed) from Exclaim, won a music box from Oreo, won a $100 Samko & Miko digital gift card from Wonderlist, won a Raptors jersey from Unilever, won a Green & Black gift basket from Colio wines, won 6 months of storage from Access Storage from 99.9, won a smaller basket of goodies to cheer on the olympics mostly knick knacks but there was a $50 prepaid card in there from z103.5, won a free bottle of Perinaise, won a $50 nhl gift card from a pepsi scan contest that I traded for a $50 nba gift card, won $25 in sumo swag and bought a long sleeve shirt for now, won a signed Doug Gilmour jersey from Nestle, won 2 coupons and a tumbler from Quaker (my mom won one but she never got it, was it 1 per address?), won Back 4 Blood digital from q107, won a $100 nfl gift card I bought 2 sweaters/hoodies with, won a $100 max voucher that's in rotation now and not going so well for payout but 2 more draws left lol from 105.7, won a free tree from 94.7 that I said to reraffle, won a $15 roblox gift card from Natural Factors, also won a $1000 gift card to Club Piscine from their anniversary contest, just won Iron Maiden tickets from 94.9, won some swag from the pepsi contest this year, won some movie codes this year I gave away, can't be sure what else I won this year via radio as they usually call but not too much more I'm sure.

Def not a good year contesting wise, and I'm looking forward to 2022 being a better year all around. I realize this life will always be some kind of work, no matter what, so you gotta hustle and make ends meet. Hopefully the road just gets wider for all in the next year, and continues to stretch on until they get somewhere they can forget all about what they've currently been thinking about or sharing whistling while working so to speak and get into a mode that fulfills the mode of the future where there is always too much to do cuz you're in the process, and change happens when the majority and the 50/50 riddler are cast into nuance to complete the fit that the people and the world are rolling in unison to get to a better state and it is no longer timed just whisked into the cold hard change in the world to get rid of too much bs. Hard to see through this frail and lockdown economy, guess that's some bs and some change that's not being rendered out immediately, just kept in check, under a pressure point, and with some cardiac ringtones. This year felt sluggish, and I really don't know what the deal is with everything anymore, but I've let go and am taking care of myself, but alas don't have much to do still. Haha, can't be in paradise where everything fits, gotta take it in the real world where perfect is usually a reflection of something, and perfect or the middle doesn't slow me down anymore. Gotta be more to this life than just trying for things, and than realizing you prob only need a few things lol. Good luck all.

Edited: To add, I've been promised extra vinyl for the delay by Universal Music from a win 93.5 and one from loycals, and I think they think they sent enough, don't have to reply to me, and think they'll get me to just eff off. I'm making a social media account come new years and sending them a message and posting it live to get them to hurry this up. It's been a year if not 2 or more since the inception of these wins, until when they were about to send more, and I've received some but not all. Tired of waiting, and will have to start my year creating some edge to get what was promised to me. Going to relax all day today, not even enter dailies, but I've been entering! lol.

Edited: Just started playing the fido contests, and was only playing 1 number and won urbeats3 headphones. They're only worth about $40 new on kijiji, but I gave it. Still unopened, she's picky with headphones and said maybe you'll take them if they don't fit me. Came in first mail day on the 29th, so must've missed by a day getting them for the holidays so this gift would've been a gift and this fiasco averted. Running out of gb on data, but last day today and can play my music out in the open. I don't know when the last time I used headphones is lol

It's always awesome to hear about all our wins! I've attached a screenshot of my wins for 2021. I was pretty lucky on Instagram this year.

Biggest Win: $850 Cheque (instead of the TV) from General Mills – Instantly Win 1 of 10 50” 4K SMART TVs Contest

Most Used Win: LILYSILK silk pillowcases (I think it's made my face/hair smoother while sleeping)

Most Favorite Win: Silk'n Infinity Hair Removal Device (worth like ~$350!), been using it for 18 weeks so far and it's been working quite well

Most Weird Win: Sloth plush toy from KINDER Animal Adventures is so cute that it makes me smile whenever I look at it

Multiple Wins:
- Won LILYSILK gift vouchers from Instagram contests and got a whole bunch of silk pillowscases, blouses, trenchcoats, pajamas
- Won ~25 times with the Unilever Starting Lineup Contest (Raptors jerseys, hats, $50 NBA Store Gift Cards)
- Won ~10 times with DRINK PEPSI GET SUMMER STUFF (Pepsi coupons, socks, t-shirts)

Good luck to us all in 2022! Smiling Face With Open Mouth

Some nice wins. 25x at the unilever contest. Are you running bingo sheets or were some purchase ones. I slacked off at the beginning of the year, just mostly entered one time contests once a month. Than later, was caught around browsing during the summer and entering irregularly, but that stopped. November prob started playing dailies, and seems to win, you gotta be intertwined with this more than just filling them out once a month, the one times. Doing dailies, no social media for me still, but am feeling optimistic seeing some contests posted already and maybe 2022 will be better for all, though your wins are real good. Guess some that put in the time get rewarded with things. My character is stubborn, I usually stick with what I know, until a comet passes by, smells my smoke, and I turn into a fireball chasing it down. Would be a cool theme for a pinball machine, and have the balls etched with some fire. No idea, I'm relaxing, good wins for you, nothing to be ashamed of, 2021 covid or not, you were reeling them in for your casts. I still hit some, but really didn't put in the effort. Now that I'm trying, maybe that BC trip is coming lol

Congratulations. Love it when people think it's their best year. Some nice wins, I only won 2 x coffee for a year prizes, and I cheated putting in the pin codes from thin air lol. I sold them away for $50 both them to the keurig coffee drinker around. Told him they were worth more, and he's just about finishing up, but still got some left. And they were won a while back.

Enjoy 2021 than. No rush to get into 2022 for you, but hope it's at least as good, and maybe a better year for all, even the ones claiming a year was their best.
