All-Clad are made in the US (In this case) whereas the Ramsey stuff is made in China. I own pieces from both brands and when I compare the empty frying pans from both, the Gordon Ramsey one is not balanced on the base and as such is more prone to tipping when empty.

I have the Miyabi 600S 8-inch chef's. The steel is nicer, but the balance on the global is sooooo much better; it's almost perfect where as the miyabi is quite handle-heavy.
