One of my lines is on the last promo before infinity plans, $115/10gb ultra tab, with a 30% discount for epp, total $80.50+ taxes.

If I upgrade to the 11pro they won’t change plan and I get edge40 pricing, and with upfront edge the phone is $0. My monthly stays $80.50.

Not bad at all. Feel like that's still too steep, though, for something I'd pay. But for a brand new phone, that's pretty OK.
I'm going to the convenient store to pick me up a pack of cigarettes...

$0 up front @ $80.50 a month for 10GB is pretty ok for a phone that isn't even released yet?? iPhone 11 Pro?!?!???!?!

I highly doubt that iPhone 11 pro is zero ..
Upfront inquiry at rogers store are different. When u are actually ready to sign contract then real pricing comes out

For people going on tab, what credit card should I use to get the extended warranty coverage?

I believe there are certain cards specifically say phones/tablets excluded, while others have restrictions on how much of the phone must be charged on the card to be eligible? To make things more complicated there are cards that also cover accidental/theft...

Does a chart exist that shows the coverages for extended warranties? Wondering if I can skip buying AppleCare this time.

For Rogers It's Apple Iphone 11 Pro MAX 64GB $0.00 with an upfront edge discount of $590 (buyback after 2-years) Plan is $80.50 for edge 40 (10GB Data).

MasterCard needs the entire purchase of the phone in one transaction. In fact, the extended warranty only applies to items that are covered in a single transaction. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I read that fine print because that excludes anything that’s financed (like a tab).

You probably wouldn't understand (and maybe I don't, either) but I just can't see myself paying more than 80+/m for a phone plan. I'd rather get an older flagship and go with a flanker carrier than pay those prices. But I do acknowledge it's a pretty good deal if you put all that aside. Especially for an Apple, no less.

A lot of people miss that detail. You have to buy the phone (or other item) outright. In addition, you have to pay 100% with the card in my experience. You can't use a gift card, cash, store credit, etc...

Another important detail to note is that some extended warranties offered by credit cards only cover REPAIR and not REPLACEMENT. This can be an issue with iPhone's since they often just swap them out instead of repairing them. I encountered this detail with a purchase on an MBNA card.
