The SMB hardware purchase charge is the tax amount that is charged to the Telus easy pay amount. I also had a easy payment amount of $174 distributed over 24 months and the SMB amount is the tax on $174 amount. Slightly Smiling Face

How much would the 11 pro 256gb run? I’m assuming closer to $0 up front compared to $220 for the Max. Seems tempting.

Anyway to check the status of your order if you’re a new Rogers customer and only have an order number (other than calling/going on chat)?

iPhone 11 pro is
64 GB - 450 $
256 gB- 660$

This are initially down payment and u keep phone at the end of 2 years

No idea about upfront edge pricing as my corporate do not have that option

Does anyone know if it's possible to upgrade your phone with a carrier at an Apple Store and use the device return option to pay less upfront? I'm getting conflicting information through Rogers online chat.

For the Telus EPP, you are only taxed on the phone bill portion and not the "tab" amount correct? For example, if you get the iPhone 11 Pro Max, your bill will be for $67.50 + taxes (ONT) + $30.00 (EZ BIB) so you'll pay $106.28 per month? Also if you decide to buy back your phone, are you taxed for that?

Anybody able to change their plan while under contract? Without paying off the device balance. A poster said he was able to switch to an $80 15gb while under contract (consumer) in the massive Fido thread.

Your monthly price is correct. You pay the tax upfront for the phone (30 x 24 ×.13 = 93.60)

What happens when you pay the taxes but decide you don't want to keep the phone after 2 years; is it refunded?

Hello friends,

It seems theres a lot of confusion around the EPP plans. I’m with Rogers and I got the iPhone pro mad 64GB Friday for 590$.

Plan is $115 - 35% ( corporate discount )

Also a 300$ bill credit.

That means the device cost me $366

The plan is $74.75 a month for a 10GB shared data plan.

The deal is not bad at all. Don’t confuse yourself with the “edge” lingo. Decide if you want a unlimited plan or if 10GB is enough. Unlimited plans only get a 10% discount.

The whole financing and edge upfront deals are bogus.

So this is essentially HST on the Bring it Back amount? And should be a one time charge only?

Was never told about this in any of the conversation I had with Telus. Anyone else got their first bill yet and have the same issue?
It's tax on the phone amount.

It is the tax on the Easy Payment amount for the device that you have to pay in addition to your monthly plan charge. It is not related to the Bring it Back amount and is one time only.

Would love to switch the $80.50 to $80 from 10gb to 15gb. Were you able to do it?
