$71.50

$479 up front for an iPhone 11 64 gb. Is this a reasonable deal or lame corp deal? Seems like I missed the boat with all the holiday deals, maybe March will bring something better? Thanks for any input guys!
The same. RogersDirect is only good for company specific plans (especially BYOD).

If you are looking for phones its better to go through corporate Rogers Dealers (especially during promo times such as boxing day, black friday, etc).

I'll have to find a corporate Rogers dealer here in downtown Toronto. I might just go over to Rogers for the 68 dollar BYOD plan today or tomorrow since it gives me 10 GB more than I'm getting with Virgin. Then scoop up a device on an upgrade.

krnash wrote: ok, now I think I understand Roger's system. Instead of paying 71.50 for the edge 20, I pay 87.50 for the edge 40 paying 16 per month more, i.e. 24*16= 384 plus the 45 = 429, instead of paying 479 up front. I also noticed the 10GB edge 40 plan is more than the 20GB plan. WTF??

Also my wife's corporation has Telus deals but they aren't as good are they? In the end, I should have pulled the trigger weeks ago because the plans were much better. Thanks Sam! I had somebody say wait, March always brings more plans. Maybe it's worth doing a BYOD deal & then locking into something then.
The reason the 20GB plan is cheaper is because there is a $10/month discount promotion right now.

Telus EPP plans are often worse because of the difference in how the two companies handle phone pricing. Say you have a $1200 phone. If Telus offers $0 upfront then you would pay $50/month for 24 months for a total of $1200.

If Rogers is offering a $0 upfront option then it would have to be on Edge 40, which is the most expensive plan level. Edge 40 means $40 x 24 months, for a total of $960. So you'd be paying $240 less with Rogers.

It's a discount on the in-market plan right now.

Yes, I can see it in my portal. Just call. It's the regular EPP discount on a plan that is discounted for everyone.

Not just that, A13 vs A12, better contrast ratio, brightness and water resistance on the 11 Pro Max

I think you have to consider the cost outlay & that the 5G network is slowly being rolled out by Rogers. As I understand it, the iPhone 12 coming this fall will work on this 5G network.

The iPhone XS, XR, and 11 support band 71 that T-Mobile's 600Mhz extended LTE operates on.
