Free iPhone XR 64 GB
65$ For 6 Gb of data, Unlimited Canada wide Talk , Text
40$ Activation Charge

Tempted to sign up, I am currently with Fido 5GB 40$ plan
Is Bell's deal good enough ? Worth the hard credit check?
How is Bell's LTE compared to Rogers(Fido)?
That's a good deal. Where did you get this offer?

It is a terrible deal if you compare it to the $4/month for the s10+ with bring it back. If you compare both phones there is not much difference other than the stylus. I am a big fan of the stylus, but it is not worth $1000+.

Hey, i have a question hopefully someone can answer.

I have rogers plan currently and am receiving 30% off through my military discount. Now that the infinity plans are out, they are the only plans that are showing up in the web portal that i can switch too. So my question is this, if i switch through the web portal, does my discount automatically carry over? Or would i have to call customer support.

That is 100% a terrible deal. He’ll be paying $2900+ over the course of 2 years ($108 plus tax) for the phone and plan... i’d rather get the s10+ for $4 extra a month

I find the Telus page via venngo is horrible. You can pm me if you want to keep it private
I'm using the venngo portal then going to the telus epp portal through that. You're right, the telus portal is pretty bad, but it's top notch compared to the bell or rogers ones. They are just horrendous.

I’ve got the same discount through my employer, it wasn’t applicable to the new Infinite plans. I read in this thread that they are now offering 10% off on the primary line of these plans, I also chatted with them and they said the same thing.

I just signed up for the 10 GB unlimited for my wife and 20 GB unlimited for me with Bell EPP.
Coming from Rogers where 10GB is 65 per line. This is a better deal

Wonder if I can avoid the activation fee in any way

Bitch at them about how they should be winning your business. Sometimes it works.

However as soon as you "agree" to the fees youre SOL, unless you can wear them down.

Yeah I know. It’s ok it’s still not a bad deal. I save a few bucks a month with the new deal. So I’ll make it up I suppose.

Device balance is not $312, for the 256GB XR it’s $963. The $312 is what you pay over the two year term while Telus pays the balance. If you want to leave early or pay it off early, it’s the $963.

Someone can correct me if I’m wrong, but that’s the way I interpreted the contract I got.

I signed up through the EPP for Telus (already with Telus without a contract on a grandfathered plan from the 3 year plan days). They waived the 50$ migration fee (I mean what the hell I am already with Telus), and I ended up getting 20GB peace of mind plus for 72$ a month. Best part is I am still not on contract as I used my own device, and can get a phone on contract when I do decide.

All in all pretty satisfied.

Ohkk will wait for my contract to come in see how they have worder the contract.. Or might just cancel it because if I have stick with them for two years then thats not true cost of device ... although I was planning to stick but don't like contract so if I can pay off the phone @312 and have peace of mind of no contract then that would be deal..
