For all intents and purposes it's really a deferred payment program.

It's ($13-$4.25)*24 = $210
So the amount owing at the end without bring it back wold be 0? And with bring it back, it would be whatever they determine.

Without Bring it back (BiB), after 24 months it would be 0.

With Bring it back, it's the device monthly price without BiB minus device monthly price with BiB multiplied by the full term (24 months).

So, for the S10+ it's values I used above. So $210 is what's owed after 24 months if you get the device on Bring it Back and choose to not Bring it back.

Thanks so much for the clarification.

Be careful if you're coming from a 30% off Telus EPP plan into the new Peace of Mind EPP. I spoke to my Telus EPP rep and not only does the US roaming go up from $7 / day to $8 /day - your EPP discount no longer applies to roaming.

Right now on my 30% off EPP Premium plan I get 30% off my plan, overages and roaming. So $7/day x 30% off = $4.90 /day US roaming.

It sounds like the core 10% - 30% discounts on the new unlimited plans only apply to the core plan itself.

I'm currently content with 10GB so I'm going to hold off on going unlimited. $8 roaming with no discount is a little steep for me.

Is the discount ongoing or 24M for BYOD.

I signed up two EPP lines for the Simple Share plan with the S10+. I was told I can sign up to 9 lines through one EPP account.

Multiple. I got it for my wife and I. Up to 5 Lines
Fantastic, I might switch to Bell after 8 years with Rogers. Do you know if the additional $5 off per line family discount applies too? If so that would be a steal and I will call Bell right away :)

Are you getting additional discount for having 2 lines? If so, how much was the discount?

I'm assuming this scenario:
With S10+ Bring It Back
$71.75 after tax for Simple Share 10GB per person x 2 = $143.5
Additional discount for multiple lines (assume 10%) = -$14.35
Monthly bill for 2: $129.15

There's no multi line discount with Telus EPP now.

I opted not to do the Bring It Back as I'm planning to sell one or both of the phones out. You can worst case get $800 for it on kijiji, which nets you $488. I would just use that towards my bill. I'm currently on the $65/10gb (+3GB bonus) from Rogers.

wouldnt it smart to do 50 gb shareable, and 10 gb shareabout on the second like (87.50 + 67.50 - (10 dollars savings) = 60 gb to used together.. is this how that works?

If you're wanting 60GB shared, yes.

I just reached out to smartcell via online chat. They confirmed I am eligible for these plans. Pretty easy for those wondering if they are eligible or not.

Now I just need to decide if I pull the trigger. Don't need a new phone so I would either sell it or sell my Huawei P20 Pro or just go month to month. I have been pushing my 5 gig limit lately so an increase would be nice. We have xplornet for home internet which most days does the job but there are the odd night where it is slowwwwwwww. Having the ability to tether those times without fear of going over my mobile data would be nice. Not having any overages is that much better.

I believe these qualify for the no data overages? Can someone confirm? 512Kbps would be better than nothing. If I decide to go forward I guess I would have to decide to get 20 gig and then if I go over it falls back on the 512Kbps or go for the 50 and most likely would never have to worry about the 512Kbps.

Either way these are good deals and great for those who can take advantage of them.

No the 5 doesn’t apply. I’ve been with Rogers for 14 years and just made the switch. After that many years with them if they can’t do something for me, they lost my loyalty.
