Some carriers like Koodo don't make you pay the discount back. That's what I'm getting at.

Don't be a big shot behind a keyboard bud. It ruins it for everyone.
If you had read some of the thread beforehand, you would have already known the answer. Don’t be a lazy RFDer: it clogs up pages for everyone.

Also, the TELUS activation fee can definitely be waived. See my account with the credit before receiving the first bill.

They can but will do when they want...I got mines waived but I just called in for my wife and this person wouldn’t budge even though I got the credit...saying” since I was the first on this new account they could”Neutral Face

I can see them increasing your price AFTER your 2 year contract is over, but I'm personally not worried about it happening before the two years on these deals with device balances.
If anything, it's a grey area. Now that they are going to "Device Financing" instead of "contracts" they may try and argue that they can change terms since the service and device are separate, but I don't see the CRTC allowing that (they just put a stop on 3 year device financing while they look into it all). Then again, anything is possible when you have CRTC involved. Heck, if they tried to raise prices, I would argue back that I would keep paying device balance to Telus and just get service from Rogers.

With a New EPP Bell Line, is there an activation fee. Any clue on the rate plan, etc.

Wow, Rogers just doesn't give a crap anymore. Got the Winback call today - offered 20GB for $115 - 10%, $200 credit, 64Gb iPhone XR. I refused, and she offered an addition $100 credit and threw in Samsung A Tablet (useless to me). I said goodbye.

How long did it take before you got the call? My package finally showed up today (after being lost in the mail for a couple days), and I’m looking forward to getting a disappointing offer.

what is the $300 hardware discount?
+1..how does this work? I see this offer was added recently and also includes you in a draw to get 10gb for 2 yrs free.

It’s a discount off a phone where they put the phone higher then 300 then it’s worth then bring it down to 600 and people think they made a mistake and buy without almost thinking

no kidding Rogers sucks. Would like to join Bell to get that 30% off the 75/10gb BYOP plan but Bell only has EPP for a handful of corporations...

New in store activation in Toronto with 35% EPP discount.
You activated with Bell and got 35% off in store via EPP??? did you need to call a toll free number first or just showed up with your work ID badge?

I don't understand why many of you are asking if you'll have to pay the cost of your phone if you cancel early. Of course you do, you think telus is going to give you 1200 dollars for free??

The logic gap here is astounding.
Those koodo deals are getting into people's head.

Does anyone know?
My rookie knowledge would say iPhone. They generally hold their value, but I havent been in the phone game for a while.

Anyway, to those who have gotten their phones, how long did it take for you to get your order from ordering to delivery? It’s been 48hrs for mine I think but no follow up email. I did get my order confirmation after doing it on the Telus site.
