Cost for adding name to property

Any people have experience on how much does it cost to add name on property not including mortgage penalty

Cost will be cost of lawyer doing the work. If you have a good relationship then it shouldn't be too bad. Just off the street may charge you full transfer fee ($750+). Let me know if you need a referral.

PS: Are you sure you want to do this? This can cause complication with mortgage / insurance etc.

five year closed variable $230,000 left. Mortgage started on July 2018. Start rate is 2.8 then changed to 3.05 then changed again to 3.30. the interest rate is 2.8

No one can quote you penalties in the abstract.

Theoretically, if youhhave an adjustable rate mortgage, your penalty will always be 3 months' interest at the bank's prime rate (your non-discounted rate).

But for the 12th time, CONTACT YOUR FINANCIAL INSTITUTION TO HAVE SPECIFIC QUESTIONS ANSWERED.
