[Costco] 11 x 20 Penguin Winter Car Shelter - $299.97 (now $199.97)

I've been keeping an eye on gazebos on Costco over the past few weeks. This went on .97 clearance a couple weeks ago ($399.97) but just dropped another $100 this morning. (Now $199.97)

Not sure what the regular price is on the unit or how it differs from say the 11x19 unit for sale at Rona ($580). I imagine that at a reduced Costco clearance price this shelter probably won't be around much longer at this price.

I know people who pay this much annually to rent these things! (It includes installation and storage during the summer months). Definitely a good deal, if it fits your needs.

That’s pretty expensive. I have a tempo for 2 cars and it was around $1400 to buy and $100 each winter to install and store

Generally no as they're ugly as hell. If your neighbours don't complain or you've got a long driveway and can set it up in the back you might get away with it.

They're very popular in Quebec and rural areas outside of the GTA.

In the picture I see it's set up in front of a garage on a driveway. Where is it anchored? It's not drilled down into the asphalt is it?
