I have the original. Is this any different in terms of coffee taste? Worth to change?

I ordered this earlier this week on amazon for $140, does anyone have experience with the aeroccino? through seeing reviews/videos it seems like it froths the milk a bit too much (too foamy).

this looks better than the nespresso black friday sale ($200 for vertuomachine with aeroccino) or is this an older model or something?

does costco sell nespresso pods, or do i need to order from nespresso?

Last time I checked, costco doesn't have nespresso pods. You have to order them from nespresso or Amazon.

Machine is good, the price is also good, but good luck buying pods for this.... only on amazon or directly from nespresso for extremely high price!

Vertuo pods are more expensive and hard to come by. You should give it a try though if you do care coffee. It is probably the cheapest and still convenient way to get access to some excellent and fun coffee. The package comes with 12 pods as sampler. You can always return it to Costco if you think the whole thing doesn’t make sense. I am keeping it as it is consistently better than Starbucks. The machine itself is ugly per my wife, which I agree too.

I think you mean it's the most expensive way.

The original line makes way better espresso. The Vertuo line was designed for the American market where espresso is not appreciated.

Latte, Cappuccino, Macchiato and flatwhite are all based on espresso. Americano is 1/3 espresso with 2/3 hot water.

It does something that a $500 machine cannot do. Give it a try; great coffee, fun and easy to use. There are many ways to do coffee cheaper or quit it all together but that is beyond this thread.

My friend and I tried same coffee in both original and vertuo lines, the coffee from original line tastes much better and the vertuo counterpart tastes plain
If you like coffee, buy original line machine

I don't have a problem with the whole Nepresso system and think it's okay for what it is. I was just commenting on the cost of the coffee itself.

I bought this a couple days ago because I read it makes coffee as well as espresso whereas the original line makes espresso. Now I'm reading original line is better. If I want good espresso and coffee in the same machine what is the best option?
