If its Costco, there is a sense of implied quality

Basically Moustache is now Kirkland approved ;)

So is Moustache a good brand? I've never heard of it before, but that's probably not surprising for how many ink and toner brands there are out there. My printer's low toner light has been on for a while so this might be good timing.

I've bought this brand for my inkjet more than half a dozen times now, they've always worked as good as the OEM.

I recently got the brother toner cartridge, prior to getting it I've never heard of moustache before. So far it's been great, no complaints or problems.

No complaints with my Moustache brother-compatible toner! Been using it for a couple years now.

Oh damn, I just bought a package of these a month ago :(

For those asking about whether moustache brand is good.. I'm on my 3rd pack of 2 each and quality is good.

HP 48A (CF248A) Black:
both Moustache brand and the original one HP promise 1000 pages,
HP lasted extra 25%, 4 months vs 3 for Moustache,
assuming that my family's printouts consume the same amount of toner (which is probably the case and not a lot)
I got my most recent from HP for $43 down from regular $63 (the lowest price I have ever seen was $35, Staples with some crazy coupon).

Speaking of the one from Moustache -
can hardly tell any difference, decent product.
Need to admit that I have seen some "ghosting" which disappeared after 20+th page.

$26 a piece (CF248A-compatible) sounds really good.

Interesting. For my Brother a couple options:

From 123 ink directly:
(1x Black + 1xC/M/Y)
Reg $195.99 Sale $145.99
or
(2x Black + 1xC/M/Y)
Reg $219.99 Sale $179.99

From Costco
(2x Black + 1xC/M/Y)
Reg $159.99 Sale $127.99

Looks like I'm picking up a set from Costco.

Any printer you guys recommend? For Home use, maybe printing 2 or 3 pages a week.

Sad....Costco doesn't carry the Moustache compatible for Canon PG-240 ink jet cartridge that i use.

Still shopping around for an alternative for the closed ink jet refill service. $13.99+HST for a refill, vs $90+HST for OEM 3pk (2black+1color) OEM. Feels like highway robbery to dish out $100 (after tax!) for ink.

(Or $75+tax for similar Moustache brand 3 pk directly from 123ink....which is still twice the cost of the refill...sigh...)

Upvoted nonetheless.

Bought my first set of moustache ink last June and still running strong. This set might last a year plus so print quality and longevity gets top marks.

Cheaper than OEM and no discernable difference noted.

The only thing wrong with moustache is the name

Otherwise they are solid. Never had an issue

Honestly, I think it's going to vary between printers. An old brother printer I had worked great with their cartridges but the toners for my canon printer currently aren't amazing. There was an obvious quality difference but still worth the money you save from the rip off prices of the OEMs, imo.
