[Costco] $2689.99 MSI GP66, i7 11800H, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD, RTX 3080 135W, 15.6" FHD 240hz

Not necessarily a good deal, $10 cheaper than other retailers, however you get 90 days returns and upgraded 2 year warranty from Costco which makes it better than other retailers. Seems to be the only current gen laptop on Costco, recently added. One of the fastest laptops available on the market.

Review of the 3070 model.

Thermals on 3080 model.

Why is there such a few option for prebuilt 3080 desktop build from a mass market manufacturer other than Dell?

I may just have to pull the trigger on a Alienware

I had one of these from memoryexpress and I returned it. Although it had some good features it lacked modern usb ports with only usb 3.1 gen 1 ports. No thunderbolt or usb c even. Overall not a very good deal as performance is only slightly above a 3070 equipped laptop with same cpu. Mine had oem samsung 980 pro and the screen was nice. MSI allows bios overclocking and tweaking which is a real bonus in a laptop. The bottom cover is ******** difficult to remove. I bought a MSI GE76 with 3070 and 11800 with tons more features for same price and I am super pleased.

What does this have to do with gaming laptops? Those are for desktops.

A lot of people plug their laptops into monitors when they are home. Or they play VR games.

at 60fps no but if you want constant 120+ then yes. It also depends on the game.

FYI, its only around the power of a desktop 3060ti

actually it runs at 120W in the warzone footage, so downgrade that to a 3060.
