Why not? I had total of 9 non programmable thermostats installed in the whole house thats was built in 2017 and I replaced all of them with this model 5+2 days prgrammable. Unless you have central AC/Heater, its different story.

No backlight. It's a down side for some peoples. But since its a 5+2 day programmable. You don't really need to touch once its programmed.

That's a "Hot" deal. ;)

Be careful though not to exceed the Wattage if you have more than one baseboard on the same circuit.

Anjou as stated in OP. Maybe not all the Costco carry all of the deals all of the times. Stock levels will vary from place to place.

I saw this in Vaudreuil. I am fairly sure you can easily make your money back replacing manual thermostats with programmable. You can turn off all the heating in the living room areas of the house while sleeping, the entire house while at work etc... (there isn’t the same concern as heat pumps where u don’t want major temperatures in the house)

I saw them at Brossard and Candiac. Also, please note that some time, they are at entrance and not at they usually place.

In Quebec as opposed to Ontario there is often no central heat pump, its baseboards galore....

I had 10 of these units to install in my last home... Awesome set... I purchased these 10 years ago back from Costco. Each room had its own setting and it was nice to be able to regulate each room to it's own setting. It's nice to be able to program for when heat to come on and off, when and where in more high traffic areas etc...

Now I'm on a forced air system...
