I like the squeegee, really helps clean the windows when there is water.

Pretty useless in metro Vancouver this winter. Mild winter no snow.

can I come to Costco to ask for price adjustment if I bought mine like a month ago at 12.99?

No. You'd have to buy it at the new price and return using the old receipt.

My GF bought one of these at full price - I went out to clean off her car one morning last week after a heavy snow and I couldn't believe how much I liked this compared to the cheap brushes I'm used to. The squeegee end is awesome.

I went to grab one for myself the next day but Costco was sold out in my region :( I will probably buy online somewhere for around 2x the price.

This thing is great but breaks easily.

Here's the thread
costco-snow-brush-whats-handle-2239086/
lol well that was entertaining
Guess I'll have to add this to my shopping list
Broke the plastic retaining button on my old one, so I keep over-extending the ermm....shaft ;)
Also bare metal in winter is no fun :P

Is it somehow more fragile than older versions of this brush?

I have a similar one from 5+ years ago, except it has a regular brush head instead of the squeegee... Still works like new

Anyone care to explain what that grey "flip-up" piece on the handle is used for?

I was worried about that stupid flip up handle accidentally hitting my car and also found it to be quite useless. I removed the handle and tossed it in the trash. :) Other than that silly handle I think it's a great brush.

I think the flip-up handle is actually a hook for hanging the snow brush on a wall, etc.

Actually I think this hook is the only flaw of this snow brush. The hook's placement causes it to bang against the car when using the silicone wiper. The workaround is to extend the arm length.

That said, I bought this snow brush earlier in the Winter this Season, and I'm very very happy with it. Zero problems with breakage. Far better than my old brush from Home Depot.
